Highlights of the 27th ISGC Workshop in Bordeaux

-Africa is highly diverse genetically, which can help identify new loci related to stroke risk and risk factors

-Sex Specific GWAs identify differences in  lacunar stroke and early onset stroke genetic architectures

-The (dis)connectome of stroke related lesions help the mapping task related brain functions

-Comparison of Imputation performance of different services in African Ancestry populations founds best performance using Sanger Imputation Service

-About 20% of CNVs affect protein coding genes and have the potential to affect stroke risk and outcomes
